Holiday Programmes

This four-week holiday is considered long one since I left secondary education. I usually enjoyed err..or suffered around two weeks holidays and this is the first.

I have been playing games, watching dramas/animes, listening music, watching films and the list goes on and finally, the first vacation in my tertiary education finally came! I left to Kuala Lumpur on late Thursday and home on Saturday evening.

Although I did not entirely enjoyed the trip simply because I am not the person who liked walking walking and walking inside shoppig malls. I may be able running on the pitch for some time but I cannot hold for one second much longer walking without a purpose. Perhaps money can solve it all =P

Let's talk about the trip. First of all, me and three friends suffered at Citidel. We arrived too early and could not checked in. It was hell waiting for time to pass by. Then I almost died eating roti canai which was so hard to chew. Then the long walk experience. Sean We, Zhenn Hsean, Wei Neng and I walked at four malls in K.L.

Can you imagine walking from 10 am till 11.00 night? Both my legs were almost broken and waiting LRT to arrive to bring us back to hotel was so long. The public transportation in Malaysia left much to be desired.

Although it was not cool having broken legs, having to get two novels were nice. The titles were "A Short History of Tractors In UKRAINIAN" by Marina Lewycka and "Across the Face of the World" written by Russel Krikpatrick. The later was acclaimed as the best since Tolkien so I hope I will enjoy it as much as I like Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. It was the first of the trilogy and I only knew it after I unwrapped it. Now it is not cool. The first already so thick and I can't imagine to finish the second and the third. But then, I finally have some serious works in holiday!

Hmm...the other cool thing in this trip was being able to have a look on pretty girls! =P Come on Penang girls! Don't lose out to them! Laugh out loud. Kidding kidding!

Last Sunday was FA Cup final at Cardiff and perhaps it would be the last time England's domestic competitions such as FA Cup and Carling Cup to be held there. The new Wembley is the place. Liverpool were managed to overcome West Ham by penalties after a thrilling 6 goals in 90 minutes after a goalless axtra time. The match was almost like the Champions League final at Istanbul last year. Gerrard's "dream goal" was fantastic as well as Reina's penalty saving ability.

Then came Wednesday's Champions League final at Paris' Stade de France stadium. Who would be the successor of holder Liverpool? It was the Catalans! They hit back two goals after Arsenal's Sol Campbell goal by Samuel Eto'o and Juliano Belletti. Arsenal had goalkeeper Jens Lehmann sent off after just 18 minutes. My friend Zhenn Hsean who was an Arsenal fan was heart broken.

Sean We, Zhenn Hsean and I watched the match live at the mamak store that I had a bad gay experience. This time, luckily, no problem. When it ended nearly at 5 am, we headed home. Hell it was raining so heavily! Thank god for not being scolded even though I told mom the time I back home.

Then came the FA Cup final of domestic football. It was Pahang versus Perlis and it was a boring draw till the penalty shootout. The keepers and the penalty takers were just lousy compared to international players. It ended 4-2 or something whatever. I f
I fell asleep in the middle of the match and then went to online instead. I could not believe my eyes when I turned the tv on and the match was still going on.

Lousy players then came the boring prize giving ceremony with the stupid cup. Unlike those European football, when they win something the ceremony is touching and ends in grand. Malaysian ones are nothing. No champagnes or anything. Then it was the cup. I had no idea totally who created that stupid damn thing. What was the reason putting the logos for each state on the cup? What's even dumb was the height and its weight. 90 cm in height and weighed 13 KG! It needed four men in black to present it to the captain. How dumb. Nothing left to say more.

Finally, there is only about a week left to college opens again and the result for my third semester is coming out soon...! Crossing my fingers hard!

新娘18岁

Feeling weird? Yes I think so! This is the first time I'm using Chinese for title in this very blog. Why? simply because I like it alot.

While the meaning for the title is 18-year-old bride, I do not mean I am getting married. That is the first Korean drama that I watched from the beginning till the end. I always have negative thoughts on Hong Kong, Japan, Korean and Taiwan dramas because a lot of them oriented love stories. I was getting tired so I only have a glimpse or never watch the dramas. And so, I always put my eyes glued on tv shows such as LOST, Smallville and so on...

Mostly, Japan and Korean actors/actress are fine in my point of view but Taiwan actors/actress are so bad that I cannot bear it for a moment. I strongly suggest them to attend acting class before they shoot the series. While Hong Kong have good ones, but their young actors/actress still have a lot of work to do. Nevertheless, most of the scripts are also a pain in the ass. =P

But this series is a exceptional one. Both the script and acting are good. I actually watched the series till midnight. It was like 5 a.m. in the morning, ahem! Well done 韩智慧, 李东健 and the team! I am enjoying it as well as its sound tracks.

Strongly suggest those handsome/pretty and yet unskilled, take some acting classes!

Hmm...I recommend this drama to all of you because it is simply GREAAAT...!!!

My Thought For the 05/06 EPL Season

Last Sunday was the day the English Premier League ended, with unsurprisingly the invincible Chelsea retained the title. Second was Manchester United with my team, Liverpool only a point drifting behind. The fourth slot for Champions League went to Arsenal with a dramatic win.

Liverpool were clearly improving. They were fifth last season and they were behind champions Chelsea for about 37 points. This time, the points gap reduced to just nine. However, this could not reflect the real improvement because simply Chelsea won the title with still two games to go and they lost the them. Anyhow, Liverpool were surely tried hard to catch up and they did it well. I think they were just unlucky to claim the second place.

While Liverpool managed to get 82 points this season, their performances were very good. They were only one short of the most clean sheets in a season. I firmly believe they would equal the record because Liverpool still have a final game to play and that is the most famous cup in the world, the FA Cup, against West Ham.

Right now, they just have to improve their goal scoring record, in my opinion. If they could solve the goal-shy problem then it would be great for the team and the supporters.

Finally, I would like to congratulate Arsenal for getting the final ticket to Champions League and their glorious record in their ground, Highbury. Emirates Stadium, they are going for the next season. Good luck!

01-02-03-04-05-06 !!!

Let's start off with yesterday's morning jogging. It has been a long time since I really went for a jog. I went because Chay Tong wanted to keep fit and I had nothing to do. Furthermore, jogging was good for health so I agreed. Before I even jog, my both legs were already tired of three-football games-in-ten days. After the fifteen-minute jog, both of us were out of breath so we went home. Hey, it was a long way to jog!! When I was taking the shower..my goodness!!! Every inch of my muscles hurt!

After taking my breakfast I went for a nap and the pain gone. Soon, I went to watch Mission Impossible III with Chay Tong at Pacific. After that, I took a nap again and later, the lost pain back again! It was so pain, even the testicles!!!

After an hour or so, it was getting much better and gone. Hopefully I can cope with the almost-one month-jog with Chay Tong. Gambate! =D

01-02-03-04-05-06, it means 2006/05/04 01:02:03 The time was such beautiful. May our dream come true!

Bad Times

Hmm... Let's start off with my footballing first okay? It has been a almost over a month since I played futsal with my UUFC friends. Then the first game was so horrible. I could not get into the game and completely out of sort. My both legs were so powerless and that meant only one thing, poor fitness.

Later on, which was two days ago, I played against my good friend, Alan, along with his neighbours and it was an average performance. Getting better with my feet now but my passing and tackling were not up to standard. Today I played with UUFC again and the old self Ken was almost back. I feel more power in my feet now and a clearer mind. However, it was not a top notch standard yet. Guess that I did not exercise for a month was making me to the lowest point of my football.

The another horrible thing was something not new already. I met it for twice already. I've been courting by men, Indians and a Malay.

The first time was at Gurney Plaza. I was alone, on my way to the cinema and suddenly a Malay approached me and asked me whether I was alone and I said no. He disagreed because I was alone and he said he would like to company me! Oh my God! I declined him and he went away. He was a staff of the cinema.

The second time was yesterday at a mamak store. A mamak (Indian Muslim) was a friendly man and I did not think much. Suddenly he came to me and said "Wo Ai Ni" (I Love You in English). He smiled and asked what was the meaning. Only an idiot says the words and asks the meaning when he already knows. He went away and not long after, he came again and said that words again in Tamil. GOSH! Again, he said my stomach something, baby something and I did not understand. Neither my two friends.

After finishing the supper, both three of us went to wash our mouths and I saw he was looking, err, no...staring at me by the reflection by the mirror. Later, my friends told me that man who was around thirty years old staring at me going down the stairs. That man clearly looked on me only and no other else. Creepy!

It seems that I have a lot of bad memories at mamak stalls or stores. I used to have a mamak who was so crazy. He tried to pull my short down! But then, he did this to a lot of people and I think he only tried to be funny or something. Hope he does not get smack. Haha.

I am a normal male and surely I am attracted to opposite sex. Leave me alone, homosexuals! I have no desire starring "Brokeback Mountain" !!!
