Holiday Programmes

This four-week holiday is considered long one since I left secondary education. I usually enjoyed err..or suffered around two weeks holidays and this is the first.

I have been playing games, watching dramas/animes, listening music, watching films and the list goes on and finally, the first vacation in my tertiary education finally came! I left to Kuala Lumpur on late Thursday and home on Saturday evening.

Although I did not entirely enjoyed the trip simply because I am not the person who liked walking walking and walking inside shoppig malls. I may be able running on the pitch for some time but I cannot hold for one second much longer walking without a purpose. Perhaps money can solve it all =P

Let's talk about the trip. First of all, me and three friends suffered at Citidel. We arrived too early and could not checked in. It was hell waiting for time to pass by. Then I almost died eating roti canai which was so hard to chew. Then the long walk experience. Sean We, Zhenn Hsean, Wei Neng and I walked at four malls in K.L.

Can you imagine walking from 10 am till 11.00 night? Both my legs were almost broken and waiting LRT to arrive to bring us back to hotel was so long. The public transportation in Malaysia left much to be desired.

Although it was not cool having broken legs, having to get two novels were nice. The titles were "A Short History of Tractors In UKRAINIAN" by Marina Lewycka and "Across the Face of the World" written by Russel Krikpatrick. The later was acclaimed as the best since Tolkien so I hope I will enjoy it as much as I like Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. It was the first of the trilogy and I only knew it after I unwrapped it. Now it is not cool. The first already so thick and I can't imagine to finish the second and the third. But then, I finally have some serious works in holiday!

Hmm...the other cool thing in this trip was being able to have a look on pretty girls! =P Come on Penang girls! Don't lose out to them! Laugh out loud. Kidding kidding!

Last Sunday was FA Cup final at Cardiff and perhaps it would be the last time England's domestic competitions such as FA Cup and Carling Cup to be held there. The new Wembley is the place. Liverpool were managed to overcome West Ham by penalties after a thrilling 6 goals in 90 minutes after a goalless axtra time. The match was almost like the Champions League final at Istanbul last year. Gerrard's "dream goal" was fantastic as well as Reina's penalty saving ability.

Then came Wednesday's Champions League final at Paris' Stade de France stadium. Who would be the successor of holder Liverpool? It was the Catalans! They hit back two goals after Arsenal's Sol Campbell goal by Samuel Eto'o and Juliano Belletti. Arsenal had goalkeeper Jens Lehmann sent off after just 18 minutes. My friend Zhenn Hsean who was an Arsenal fan was heart broken.

Sean We, Zhenn Hsean and I watched the match live at the mamak store that I had a bad gay experience. This time, luckily, no problem. When it ended nearly at 5 am, we headed home. Hell it was raining so heavily! Thank god for not being scolded even though I told mom the time I back home.

Then came the FA Cup final of domestic football. It was Pahang versus Perlis and it was a boring draw till the penalty shootout. The keepers and the penalty takers were just lousy compared to international players. It ended 4-2 or something whatever. I f
I fell asleep in the middle of the match and then went to online instead. I could not believe my eyes when I turned the tv on and the match was still going on.

Lousy players then came the boring prize giving ceremony with the stupid cup. Unlike those European football, when they win something the ceremony is touching and ends in grand. Malaysian ones are nothing. No champagnes or anything. Then it was the cup. I had no idea totally who created that stupid damn thing. What was the reason putting the logos for each state on the cup? What's even dumb was the height and its weight. 90 cm in height and weighed 13 KG! It needed four men in black to present it to the captain. How dumb. Nothing left to say more.

Finally, there is only about a week left to college opens again and the result for my third semester is coming out soon...! Crossing my fingers hard!

新娘18岁

Feeling weird? Yes I think so! This is the first time I'm using Chinese for title in this very blog. Why? simply because I like it alot.

While the meaning for the title is 18-year-old bride, I do not mean I am getting married. That is the first Korean drama that I watched from the beginning till the end. I always have negative thoughts on Hong Kong, Japan, Korean and Taiwan dramas because a lot of them oriented love stories. I was getting tired so I only have a glimpse or never watch the dramas. And so, I always put my eyes glued on tv shows such as LOST, Smallville and so on...

Mostly, Japan and Korean actors/actress are fine in my point of view but Taiwan actors/actress are so bad that I cannot bear it for a moment. I strongly suggest them to attend acting class before they shoot the series. While Hong Kong have good ones, but their young actors/actress still have a lot of work to do. Nevertheless, most of the scripts are also a pain in the ass. =P

But this series is a exceptional one. Both the script and acting are good. I actually watched the series till midnight. It was like 5 a.m. in the morning, ahem! Well done 韩智慧, 李东健 and the team! I am enjoying it as well as its sound tracks.

Strongly suggest those handsome/pretty and yet unskilled, take some acting classes!

Hmm...I recommend this drama to all of you because it is simply GREAAAT...!!!

My Thought For the 05/06 EPL Season

Last Sunday was the day the English Premier League ended, with unsurprisingly the invincible Chelsea retained the title. Second was Manchester United with my team, Liverpool only a point drifting behind. The fourth slot for Champions League went to Arsenal with a dramatic win.

Liverpool were clearly improving. They were fifth last season and they were behind champions Chelsea for about 37 points. This time, the points gap reduced to just nine. However, this could not reflect the real improvement because simply Chelsea won the title with still two games to go and they lost the them. Anyhow, Liverpool were surely tried hard to catch up and they did it well. I think they were just unlucky to claim the second place.

While Liverpool managed to get 82 points this season, their performances were very good. They were only one short of the most clean sheets in a season. I firmly believe they would equal the record because Liverpool still have a final game to play and that is the most famous cup in the world, the FA Cup, against West Ham.

Right now, they just have to improve their goal scoring record, in my opinion. If they could solve the goal-shy problem then it would be great for the team and the supporters.

Finally, I would like to congratulate Arsenal for getting the final ticket to Champions League and their glorious record in their ground, Highbury. Emirates Stadium, they are going for the next season. Good luck!

01-02-03-04-05-06 !!!

Let's start off with yesterday's morning jogging. It has been a long time since I really went for a jog. I went because Chay Tong wanted to keep fit and I had nothing to do. Furthermore, jogging was good for health so I agreed. Before I even jog, my both legs were already tired of three-football games-in-ten days. After the fifteen-minute jog, both of us were out of breath so we went home. Hey, it was a long way to jog!! When I was taking the shower..my goodness!!! Every inch of my muscles hurt!

After taking my breakfast I went for a nap and the pain gone. Soon, I went to watch Mission Impossible III with Chay Tong at Pacific. After that, I took a nap again and later, the lost pain back again! It was so pain, even the testicles!!!

After an hour or so, it was getting much better and gone. Hopefully I can cope with the almost-one month-jog with Chay Tong. Gambate! =D

01-02-03-04-05-06, it means 2006/05/04 01:02:03 The time was such beautiful. May our dream come true!

Bad Times

Hmm... Let's start off with my footballing first okay? It has been a almost over a month since I played futsal with my UUFC friends. Then the first game was so horrible. I could not get into the game and completely out of sort. My both legs were so powerless and that meant only one thing, poor fitness.

Later on, which was two days ago, I played against my good friend, Alan, along with his neighbours and it was an average performance. Getting better with my feet now but my passing and tackling were not up to standard. Today I played with UUFC again and the old self Ken was almost back. I feel more power in my feet now and a clearer mind. However, it was not a top notch standard yet. Guess that I did not exercise for a month was making me to the lowest point of my football.

The another horrible thing was something not new already. I met it for twice already. I've been courting by men, Indians and a Malay.

The first time was at Gurney Plaza. I was alone, on my way to the cinema and suddenly a Malay approached me and asked me whether I was alone and I said no. He disagreed because I was alone and he said he would like to company me! Oh my God! I declined him and he went away. He was a staff of the cinema.

The second time was yesterday at a mamak store. A mamak (Indian Muslim) was a friendly man and I did not think much. Suddenly he came to me and said "Wo Ai Ni" (I Love You in English). He smiled and asked what was the meaning. Only an idiot says the words and asks the meaning when he already knows. He went away and not long after, he came again and said that words again in Tamil. GOSH! Again, he said my stomach something, baby something and I did not understand. Neither my two friends.

After finishing the supper, both three of us went to wash our mouths and I saw he was looking, err, no...staring at me by the reflection by the mirror. Later, my friends told me that man who was around thirty years old staring at me going down the stairs. That man clearly looked on me only and no other else. Creepy!

It seems that I have a lot of bad memories at mamak stalls or stores. I used to have a mamak who was so crazy. He tried to pull my short down! But then, he did this to a lot of people and I think he only tried to be funny or something. Hope he does not get smack. Haha.

I am a normal male and surely I am attracted to opposite sex. Leave me alone, homosexuals! I have no desire starring "Brokeback Mountain" !!!

My Thought s For the End of First Year

Yesterday was the first day of holiday for the third semester. And that also meant that the exam was over. Guess what, the examination was still disappointing in my point of view. My intuition told me I would not going to do well. Sick of it really. But then, there was at least some improvement of my learning attitude... Nevertheless, it was still not enough.

This time, the holiday lasts one month and that means only one thing, I am going to be crazy again. Boredom boredom and boredom! Hopefully I can make good use of my free time. My life is in disorder when it is holiday. Hehe...

Yesterday too was the first day of me using my new pc. It was a brand new Pentium D with 2.66 Ghz. Though it was not the best one around but I guess it was quite up-to-date already. =) Aye! I can play computer games finally! My old pc was spoiled almost for a month and yes... no online or whatever with computer.

At last! The truth is clear now. That damned sms that my friend accidentally sent to a girl's cousin (I mentioned it on the last few post before) had not being read because I added the wrong number into my mobile phone! Phew! But yet... why "the one" peeped on us [the Soi 4, Not Fab 4 =P] the day after the sms disaster? And now no more. It was kinda weird, wasn't it?

Guess I should go back gaming now. See Yaaaaaaaa.....!!! Vroommm!!! COngrats on M. Schumacher winning his first podium winning after it was like 16 races. And to Barcelona and Arsenal, great run to the Champions League final. Let us share the beauty of football in Paris!!! Woohoo!!

Bad News & Good News & Confusion

Bad news always comes first. My mom told me not long ago that I cannot fail anything else or I would be transferred... That means I must pass both of the Mathematics and the coming papers. Life is hard when the other family members had their meeting about me, without me. I must turn this pressure into power to pass them all. Grrr... For Liverpool's sake!!!!

Then it is time to announce the good news. I got an A for my English and Malay papers for the second semester. =P Some of the good students did not make it and I was very surprised because I thought that would be easy for the likes of Wei Neng and Nakasha of M30. Not really know about others. Meanwhile for the Malay paper, it is indeed a suprise. I thought a B would be reasonable for I did not write a single Malay essay, or hardly a sentence after my SPM. Hmm...that was 2 years long! Another conclusion, I can only score on language papers. But think again, when you have Wei Fu or Wei Lu, Yik Wen and the list goes on, I am nowhere near their standard...

Third topic of the post, a confusion. To tell this, I must tell you the story happened few days ago. A friend of mine, who had a crush on a girl, used my cell phone and typed about asking for her phone number just for fun. He then selected for her relative's contact number and then accidentally sent it. He did it just for fun and it was turned out to be a disaster because I could be the victim, not him! Luckily, her relative did not reply me but the danger was still there.

Then two days ago, during the lecture, I believed her relative told her something about it but nothing happened. Yesterday was quite shocking, she sat in front as usual but she turned her head back and peeked on us. We did not know who exacly she was looking at because there were four of us, all in the same gang. But one thing for sure, she kept turning and peek on our direction. I felt very nervous that it might be that SMS who worsened my good reputation. =P

There's another story, some time in this week too,(before the SMS disaster) while I went to fetch my friends waiting at the corridor, she was there too, along with my other three gang members. One of them told that she looked at him and smiled!!!! (Okay, perhaps we were too sensitive)Could he be the one for her? Among of all four of us, he has the best result and the girl is a extremely good student. A great pair I guess. The one who has a crush on her was an average student. Hmmm....??? But this thing...you will never know.

What does she really thinking?

HELL, I hope there is nobody from my course reading it... Way too easy to know who's who!!!

-=TAR College students don't ask anything about it, Thanks=-

A Sunset Story

06 March 2006 (Monday)

And so it is… The long holiday has ended and it is time to back to my normal self again. Wake up early in the morning and attend classes again, doing homework and revisions. While I was always nagging about the boring holiday, suddenly I felt sad when it ended. I was obsessed with my old Final Fantasy VII game. The game was still a bit to the end but there was too little time. Discovering new islands with special items with my hard-to-breed Gold Chocobo, getting new weapons were making me very proud. =)

With the holiday ended, there it comes the frightening thing…my last semester result! Well it is not perfect with a subject fails, but it is a relief. Only mathematics, one out of six subjects that fails. It was a little surprise because I was like thinking before seeing my result, “God, this is gonna be very bad!” but it turned out not to be. The second semester was a hard one because only seven people from my thirty-man class passed all the six subjects. I took an extra paper to make up seven papers, as it was a re-sit paper that I failed in the first semester. I think it was a better result compared to my first semester which I failed two papers out of four! =P By the way, it looks like many (really quite a number) students fail Information Systems and Economics but I am not of them. I passed the two subjects mentioned and my Programming and my re-sit first semester Programming paper. It was a weird case. Laugh out loud.

My Liverpool dream is not died yet! My life is bet on it!

What worst is that my mother told me during the holiday that if I did badly again I would not to be continue and pursuing other course that I interested, and with no maths! Luckily the result was not too bad and this third short, seven-week semester with only two subjects (no math!), I may have more time to concentrate my weakest mathematics.

Then I found an interesting fact. I can do better in theory papers and not too critical thinking papers such as maths (Programming and Information Systems excluded for the second semester =P) while my good friends, Sean We and Zhenn Hsean were totally opposite. Of course there left Wei Neng, the leader of S4 (Soi 4) that is not like us. He is perfect.

As it was only two subjects in this semester, I wonder why I still have to go to the college with only two hours every single day! Why do not make it up to only three or four days? Sigh…

I watched Star Wars Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith again before writing this blog and it was again touching my heart. The fall of the Jedi and especially the chosen one (the one to destroy the Sith), Anakin Skywalker turns into the dark side and sending every single Jedi, young and old, to their dooms. Then there it is, even in the darkest hour there is always hope, Anakin’s master, Master Obi-Wan Kenobi (also the General in the war against the Separatist) and the greeny Master Yoda lives and the birth of Luke and Leia, the Skywalkers. The only bad things in this episode are that many innocents died and no more democracy. I think the movie is like the world nowadays, wars and dangers to democracy. When will this world turn to the world it should be? The promised lands where peace and democracy are living in it.

I played futsal two days ago and my right foot was hurt. Ouch! Getting a kick from Teck Hong was not a good thing to remember. =P

At last I am back to my new house that is in Island where there is no mosquito! Haha!

Stories At Stamford Bridge & Home

Ahem, I guess it is alright to say things about Chelsea, which is the team that I dislike most. They were facing Barcelona, another football giants in European football and I prayed hard for the away team to win the game.

I watched the game at home with my two good friends at college, Zhenn Hsean and Sean We. We shouted and jumping like mad persons without caring too much of my sleeping parents nor the neighbourhood. Hahaha... I was watching it for the beauty of football and Sean We was for the betting. =D Okay, the most quite person was Zhenn Hsean, he made just little noise through out 90 minutes.

Del Horno was sent off in the first half for bringing down Lionel Messi but it was Chelsea leading shortly after the break. Later on, Barca equalized through the hero-to-zero John Terry. Funny enough, the first two goals were own goals. But soon with only about 10 minutes left, Eto'o scored the winning goal with his head. Sean We and I, along with Barcelona players and fans around the world were jumping for joy.

The highlight of the this game is certainly Lionel Messi, the 19-year-old kid. This young player is personally tipped by Diego Maradona, the football legend to be Maradona II. Messi had the football brain and his composure to beat the tight defense of Chelsea and it was only the post that denied his great goal. If he would not just be the next Paul Gascoigne, he will be the man to watch.

It was a great game overall with the flair that available on both teams but it showed that the over attacking talent in Barcelona that proved too much for Chelsea's defense. A GREAT GAME!

Hopefully Chelsea will be crushed in 2 weeks time at Nou Camp and seeing Barca through. Champions of Europe lost 1-0 yesterday to Benfica but I strongly believe The Reds will overturn the deficit at Anfield. It will be a very tough road for Liverpool to retain the cup but my support towards them will never die. Remember, Liverpool do not give up until the last second.

The beauty of football, the beauty of human hearts, simply excellent!

I'm Rotting And Still

Today is the thirteenth day of my 3 weeks holiday. What have I do until now? Hmm...It is nothing and I hope tomorrow will be a different day. I hate long holidays somehow whereby a lot of my friends quite enjoy it. It could possibly that they have things to do which I do not have.

Long holidays make me live in mess. I am like a bat, you know, only that I am neither blind nor having better hearing sense. From what I have compared to my friends, these are the results;

(i)They play computer/consoles games.
For God's sake, my pc is damn lousy and I do not have cool consoles. I only do some novel reading and...blogging to spend my time. And guess what, my daddy uses the pc from morning until 6pm to do his shares market research...or anything, I do not care.

(ii)They are on travel
A number of my friends went to somewhere else along with their friends to enjoy. I wish I could go to Kuala Lumpur to attend Fort Minor's concert but after that thievery case, I do not dare to ask for money from mother anymore. Thus, this is not an option for me.

(iii)They can spend their time watching tv
I do not own a satellite tv. National televisions are boring, well, most of the time.

It maybe more but I cannot think of it now. All I ask is some entertainment. I cannot bear this anymore. I live no more than a statue. Planning to do some revisions but please, all reading for another 8 days? I am really looking forward to have at least some fun or just get back to college as soon as possible. The tension that I have to endure is much more than during the college days. I can be a very bad tempered person when I am in bad mood(that is applied to everyone, of course) or the point that I am so bored. God, I beg you to release me from this pain.

Oh Hell !!!

It has been three days since my mobile phone and wallet being stolen at Mount Tokun or what-so-ever the name is. The thief cracked the door using a string and opened the door easily. He searched the stuffs in the box and took my things and fleed. I don't really know if he was disppointed to find about RM8 [It could be RM58 as I forgot if I still kept my RM50 angpow inside the wallet =( ] in the wallet and a lousy phone.

I'm on a 3-weeks holiday now and I felt so bored so I decided to follow my daddy along with a friend accompanying to climb Tokun. I felt great because it was challenging. There were rocks everywhere and everyone had to be careful or else you would slipped and fell to no-where. Balance and concentration are very important or else your soul will soon visit Hell. =P But when I was on the journey home, it's so terrible that I found out my stuffs were gone!

And so, I went to an office to make a new Identity Card and it cost RM30. Later on, I went to JPJ to make a new driving licence and it was another RM20. Oh great... I am really going to give that thief a few punch if he was caught red-handed.

Then there was more, when my daddy told my mummy about that case, my mom said it was okay because it was merely bad luck. She said she had no excuse to blame me because I kept my things inside the box. But soon, after a few phone calls came in and then it was a different situation.

"Why do you bring your mobile phone and the wallet? If you did, bring them along!"

Shit! When I told her the whole story she did not seem to be angry at me and then it wasn't already. If there was so was "if" then this world would be without poverty, wars, diseases and so on. I did not really listen what everyone said anymore. Anyhow, I would take this as an experience to be extra be careful because this world is not a haven and please stop mumbling around my ears or just stop saying "if" repeatedly, well, unless you are Rudyard Kipling.

Lazy Bum!

Looks like it's been a while since my last, ahem, also the first post. The determination to settle a long-term target never seems to be long. Aiye... This is my main weakness and I must change the situation.

My English seems to be at the same standard all the time and it is very annoying really. A friend of mine, Yen Seah who claimed her English was terrible and asked for my help, is now a better English student that I am. What a shame! She has been a hardworking person and I am totally the opposite. It seems like I have to learn a lot from this young girl. =D My best wishes to her.

The most obvious part would be my this terrible blog. Ever since the first blog and there is no second. Then it would be my study. Gotta make my dream come true or I will really regret in the end when there is no way back. May the Force is be with me!

Really, I hope I can keep on updating this blog and I will post some stories happened in between this time. Catch ya later!
